Monthly Support Groups PFLAG Winston-Salem hosts Support Groups for anyone coping with LGBTQ+ issues. Meetings are facilitated by experienced, knowledgeable volunteers who provide compassion and support. Come join us to learn, grow and build long lasting relationships while helping others to do the same. Meetings are open to all, and everyone is always welcome! Children younger than 18 years old must be accompanied to meetings by a parent or guardian. Visit our events page to see when our next support group will be. |
Educational Workshops PFLAG Winston-Salem sponsors and co-sponsors annual conferences or workshops that are aimed at providing education and resources to the LGBTQ+ community, their families, friends, and especially to those in our community who are in a position to help others and/or advocate for change. Visit our events page to see when our next workshop will be. |
Advocacy PFLAG Winston-Salem is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, and as such, we cannot endorse political campaigns. We do, however, encourage and fight for an end to all discrimination, and for equality for everyone. Connect with our friends at the Human Rights Campaign and Equality NC to find out what's happening on the local and national level, and learn more about how you can help affect change. |
Social Connections PFLAG Winston-Salem sponsors or co-sponsors various social gatherings throughout the year. We believe in providing supportive, safe environments for all families to come together, socialize, and create an accepting community. Check out our events page to find out when our next social gathering will be. |
